sessions

Family sessions are all about connection, real moments, and documenting the season of life you’re in—just as you are. Whether you’re celebrating a new chapter or simply want to freeze time for a little while, these sessions are about more than just smiling at the camera. They’re about your story.

Family sessions take place outdoors during golden hour for that soft, beautiful evening light.

All sessions are posed and guided, so you don’t have to worry about what to do or where to stand. I’ll direct you every step of the way to create natural, flattering images that feel relaxed and connected—even in a more structured setting.

Whether your kids are toddlers, teens, or somewhere in between, these sessions are designed to feel relaxed and enjoyable for everyone.

FAQ

What should we wear?

I recommend coordinating, not matching. Neutral tones and soft colors tend to photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your family. Once you book, I’m happy to help with outfit ideas or answer any questions about what photographs best.

Where do sessions take place?

All of my outdoor family sessions take place in Hutto, TX. I don't travel for family photos.

How long does a family session last?

Family sessions typically last about 45 minutes to an hour. That gives us plenty of time to work through poses, take quick breaks if needed, and make sure we capture a great variety of images without anyone feeling rushed or overwhelmed.

When should I book my family session?

It’s best to book your session at least 3–4 weeks in advance, especially during busy seasons like spring and fall. This gives us time to plan your location, coordinate outfits, and make sure everything is ready for a smooth and stress-free experience. If you're looking for something shorter and more  keep an eye out for my Fall Mini Sessions—they’re a great option for families wanting a quick 20-minute session.
